IMPORTANT INFORMATION communicated this month of March 2025:
The Société hydroélectrique du Midi (SHEM) will be emptying and cleaning the Castet dam from 25 June until September. During this period, access to the water (fishing, kayaking, paddling, etc.) and to the banks of Lac de Castet will be prohibited. We'll have more details at a meeting at the end of March and will be sure to pass on more information.
